Play Durak online against real people

In multiplayer mode you play Durak against other people – live in your browser, no sign-up needed. The rules are the same as against the computer: whoever is left holding cards at the end is the durak.

How to join a table

• Click Create New Game and wait in your room for an opponent. Whoever comes in takes the seat first; you start the game when you are both ready, or remove the guest again.
• Or open a room from the list and click Take a seat.
• Want to play against friends? Send them the link from your room. A private room cannot be opened from the list, only with its link.
• You have 100 seconds for each move; the clock on the table shows how much time is left.
• Use the field below the table to chat with your opponent.

Points and levels

A win earns 2 points, a draw 1 point, and a loss costs 1 point. Leaving a game early costs 4 points – so better play it to the end. Points take you up the levels.

Statistics lists the top 150 players, History shows your recent games. Set a name in your Profile so your opponents recognise you.

The rules in brief

36 cards, six in hand, the face-up card under the stock is trump. The defender beats with a higher card of the same suit or with a trump, the attacker may add cards of the same rank. Whoever cannot beat a card picks up. You will find the full rules and tips on the page for playing against the computer.
